At Martin's we have perfected the art of creating stunning faux floral displays. We would love to share some tips on how to create the perfect display to welcome guests into your home, business, or event this summer!
It's important to start with a good base to build your display on, this design was inspired by a display that we saw when we went to market in 2023. For this display we have chosen to add wicker baskets around a metal framed table. To add interest to the scene we add a variety of shapes and sizes of containers along both the metal frame and on the table itself.
Then we picked a mix of faux floral stems and bushes to create our display. It's important to have a plan for the color scheme that you are wanting. For this design we decided to mainly use sunflowers and geraniums with a few other flowers in similar shade ranges mixed in with layered greenery for added interest.
We had our floral designers create a few stunning custom arrangements for this area as well. After that, we decided to add in some soft warm lighting throughout the display to capture that summer night vibe. We then strung fairy lights throughout the back of the display to appear like "fireflies" and clipped on butterflies in the flowers to bring a natural touch. We also line large hanging baskets of fern and geraniums along the bottom to fill the empty space.
