Martins Floral & Home Décor began as a Martins Ben Franklin Craft Center in 1989 when purchased by Jerry and Jan Martin. Shortly thereafter, their son Jerry & his wife Christy joined them and they changed the format of the store from a variety store to a craft store. With a warm welcome from the area, the business grew quickly and in September of 1994 they purchased land and built a new store with twice the floor space. As they began to see product categories that were needed in the area they largely expanded their floral, greenery and memorial decoration departments. In 1996 they dropped the Ben Franklin franchise and then became Martins Floral & Home Décor. They opened a second location in Ozark Missouri called Martins Warehouse Outlet and during Memorial season in May they open temporary locations throughout the state. The store currently offers one of the area’s largest selections of artificial flowers, greenery, silk replica trees, memorial decorations and home décor, and offers a custom design floral department.
